Studio Camões (Robustsphere – Lda)

1. Scope and Object

These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors and customers of the website www.studiocamoes.com and regulate the purchase and sale of handicraft/design pieces made of epoxy resin and eco-resin (such as A1 eco-resin) provided by the company Robustsphere – Lda, NIF 514425466, based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

Browsing the site, as well as purchasing any product, implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the User.

2. Product Information and Prices

Studio Camões makes every effort to ensure that the photographs and descriptions of the products on the Website faithfully represent the resin and eco-resin pieces. However, due to the handcrafted and manual nature of resin production, each piece is unique and may present slight variations in color, texture, or patterns compared to the demonstrative images.

The prices established on the Website are stated in Euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate in force. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and will be calculated and presented to the Customer at checkout, depending on the weight, volume, and destination of the order.

3. Payment Methods

Financial transactions on the Website are securely managed through the partner payment platform Ifthenpay.

The Customer has the following methods available to pay for their order:

  • Multibanco Reference
  • MBWay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Credit Cards (Visa / Mastercard)

The order will only be processed and shipped after effective confirmation of payment by the banking entity/Ifthenpay.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Orders placed on the Website will be shipped through specialized partner carriers (e.g., DPD, CTT Expresso, or an equivalent logistical operator integrated into the Website). The estimated delivery time will be communicated to the Customer upon shipment or finalization of the order.

Studio Camões is not responsible for any delays resulting from the logistical operations of third-party carriers, strikes, extreme weather conditions, or inaccuracies in the address details provided by the Customer.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

In accordance with European consumer protection legislation for e-commerce, the Customer has the right of withdrawal, which grants them a period of 14 consecutive days, counting from the day they physically receive the product, to return it without needing to state a reason.

  • 5.1. Return Conditions

For the return to be accepted, the product must be returned in its intact original packaging, without any sign of use, wear, alteration, or damage, accompanied by the respective invoice issued by the Weoinvoice system.

  • 5.2. Return Shipping Costs

The shipping costs associated with returning the product (return postage) are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Customer and are not refundable by Studio Camões.

  • 5.3. Exclusion from the Right of Withdrawal (Customized Pieces)

All pieces made to order, customized, or manufactured according to explicit specifications and indications of the Customer (custom-made pieces) are expressly excluded from the right of withdrawal and return. Due to their unique and exclusive nature, these pieces cannot be refunded or exchanged.

6. Legal Warranty

Consumer goods marketed by Studio Camões are covered by the legal warranty against manufacturing defects applicable in the national territory. Damages resulting from misuse, drops, inadequate exposure to heat sources or intense direct sunlight (UV), abrasive chemical products, or natural wear and tear resulting from the daily use of the resin pieces are not covered by the warranty.

7. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

In the event of a consumer dispute, the Customer may resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity. For customers in the metropolitan area of Porto/Vila Nova de Gaia, the reference entity is:

Additionally, Customers can submit their complaints through the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform provided by the European Commission, or exercise their right to formal complaint through the Electronic Complaint Book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt).

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the court of the district of Vila Nova de Gaia shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
